Alison Seanor founded Seanor Search Partners in 2025 to bring a more personal, values-driven approach to executive search within the alternative investment industry. Over more than two decades in the field, she has become a trusted advisor to leading hedge funds and asset managers, recognized for her judgment, discretion, and consultative style.

Her work spans the full spectrum of investment strategies — including long/short equity, credit, quantitative, macro, and multi-strategy platforms — with a focus on identifying and attracting exceptional investment and research talent. Alison is known for bringing a thoughtful, relationship-based approach to what is often a transactional business, emphasizing long-term partnerships and authentic collaboration.

Before founding Seanor Search Partners, Alison began her career as an equity trader at Merrill Lynch, gaining first-hand insight into markets, investment decision-making, and team dynamics — experience that continues to inform her work with clients and candidates today.

Alison earned her bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard University, where she played Division I basketball from 1994 to 1998. She helped lead Harvard to three Ivy League Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances and was recognized as an Academic All-American.
